“Batteries Not Included ”

“Opie” is a handsome registered and passported Grey thoroughbred, standing 16.2 hh located in Carstairs, Alberta. Opie is a true gentleman both on the ground and under saddle with a great mind – nothing phases this guy! He clips, loads, stands for vet/farrier, bathes and more like a dream.

Opie has done a little bit of everything from dressage, to cross country (banks, water, ditches), to hunter/jumper, to conditioning in a water treadmill.

Opie would make a FANTASTIC junior mount due to his easy-going attitude, puppy dog personality and experience in many avenues! Would also make a great husband horse or lesson horse! Don’t miss out on your opportunity to try this guy out, he won’t disappoint! Priced mid 4 figures.

“Bailey’s N’s Koffee”

“Bailey’s N’ Koffee” is a beautiful 13 year old, 15.2 hh Bay gelding. Sired by “Zips Famous Amos” and grandson of “Zips Chocolate Chip”.
Horton is a steady, reliable horse with a great mind and would be suitable for any level of rider, including a Junior. You can leave this guy for month’s, get back on and know you will have the same horse.

Horton was originally started by Jess Hartung, since then he has been in extensive lessons with: Ruth Ratcliffe (finishing western basics), Muffy Knox (building foundations in Showmanship, Western Pleasure/Horsemanship/Trail), Simone Fortin (learning English basics) and for the past year has been a beginner lesson horse at Millennium Equestrian (learning jumping basics).

Horton has also been shown locally and has won several high points in English and Western classes.
This horse is ready for a new partner to excel in the show ring with and is competitive for any novice, intermediate or senior rider. Horton would also make a fantastic 4-H or Junior mount as he is safe and confident in his job, whether competitive or recreational.

Horton requires zero maintenance, utd on vaccines and has regular 6-8 week trims. Currently stands barefoot. Loads, bathes, clips, hauls.

“Ted”

Ted is a fabulous 12 year old grade gelding who recently graduated from a rehabilitation program and is ready for a new home!

Ted is best suited for a home where he will be used for light riding as, he has made fabulous progress, but does have some mild arthritis in one knee and requires stretching to keep up the range of motion in one front limb.

Ted is an absolute pleasure to deal with and would be a fabulous family horse as he is kid safe, relaxed, an easy keeper and just an all around good guy, and handsome to boot!

Previously, Ted was used in a feedlot, used for roping and general ranch work and is well versed in this.

He is located in Carstairs, AB. Price negotiable for the right home.
